Dr. Olsen graduated with honors from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Olsen completed his specialty training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, gaining extensive experience in trauma, pathology, bone grafting and dentoalveolar surgery with an emphasis on dental implants.
Dr. Olsen continues to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education per year, keeping abreast of the latest procedures and technology. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a board certified dental anesthesiologist and a fellow of the ICOI: International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, California Dental Society of Anesthesiology, National Board of Dental Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association (CDA), and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
Dr. Olsen maintains active hospital privileges at Mercy Folsom and Mercy General. Dr. Olsen and his wife, a dental hygienist, participate in dental mission trips and serve those in need locally on an annual basis. During his spare time Dr. Olsen enjoys fly fishing, cycling, hiking, and especially time with his wife, family and friends.

Patient Care Coordinator
Victoria joined Folsom Oral Surgery And Implant Center in January of 2014. As the Patient Care Coordinator, she is usually the first person patients encounter as they come to our office. Her outgoing and vibrant personality can make any patient feel comfortable and at ease despite the stressful anticipation of surgery. She is known to make anyone feel like a friend or family member and takes great pride in patient care. She has over four years of dental experience in front office administration and is BLS (Basic Life Support) certified. Anyone that has been to our office can usually recognize Victoria’s contagious laughter down the hallway and knows they are in good hands. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her twin boys and husband. She is a huge animal lover, with one cat, one dog and about 16 imported Japanese Koi fish which she has won numerous awards for at Koi shows. In addition to her love for animals, she is a huge San Antonio Spurs and sports fan.

Financial Coordinator
Antoneta joined Folsom Oral Surgery And Implant Center in January of 2015, but has worked with Dr. Olsen since 2011. She is the Financial Coordinator at FOSIC and has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She has worked at Delta Dental Insurance Company and has extensive experience in dental insurance rules and processing. She is known to be a strong advocate for the patient in helping them maximize their insurance benefits. In addition to her experience with dental insurance processing, she is a registered dental assistant and is BLS (Basic Life Support) certified. During her spare time, she enjoys working out at the gym, traveling, and eating delicious food.

Practice Administrator
Esther Olsen graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been working in the field of dentistry for over 20 years and started off her career as a periodontal surgical assistant. Since then, she has fallen in love with the field, in particular, the specialty of periodontics and dental hygiene. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a primary focus on peri-implantitis (periodontal disease around dental implants), completing many hours of continuing education at dental implant conferences annually. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, California Dental Hygiene Association, Sacramento Valley Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries/International Congress of Oral Implantology. Esther has a passion and heart for dental mission work, locally and internationally. She has volunteered many hours at the community dental clinic in San Francisco, performing oral cancer screenings, root planings and basic cleanings for the homeless community and VA, helped with CDA Cares, and participated in dental missions with her local church. At Folsom Oral Surgery And Implant Center, Esther is the practice administrator who takes care of all staff and patient needs. She works behind the scenes to make sure FOSIC is the best practice in town. Esther and Dr. Olsen have three beautiful children together. During her free time, she enjoys spending quality family time, reading, and running races and half marathons.

Lead Surgical Assistant
Dawn joined Folsom Oral Surgery And Implant Center as the lead oral surgery assistant in December of 2013 but has worked with Dr. Olsen since 2010. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years. She is “excited and proud to be working with a great team at FOSIC.” Dawn is DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination), OMSA (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified. Outside of the office, she is a mother and a grandmother. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves to travel.

Implant Coordinator / Surgical Assistant
Alexandria joined Folsom Oral Surgery And Implant Center in December of 2013. She started off her career in oral surgery assisting as a sterilization technician while completing her dental assistant certification program. From the very first surgery, she knew that she wanted to pursue oral surgery assisting rather than work in any other specialty of dentistry. She is DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination), OMSA (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and working with the youth while volunteering at her church.
